About Us
Makin' Melodies Home Daycare
I am a former Washoe County School District elementary music teacher with over 15 years of experience in the classroom. In addition to my professional experience and university education, I have three kids of my own who are elementary and middle school aged. I bring a wealth of experience and compassion to my home daycare, and my core philosophy is inspired by Ephesians 5:19-20.
I understand that each child has unique needs and interests and I provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.
I allow children to explore their self-awareness while they gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Makin' Melodies Home Daycare, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

I believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, I guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
